Busy Busy Busy

I have been so busy I have not had the time to add to my blog. I have been doing lots of quilting. Not much time to tat. So tired at the end of the day that I can't pick up my shuttle. Did finish a small doily the other night. It is one of Teri's patterns.

Finished a Quilts of Valor Quilt for a friend. An article about her and the QOV program. If you want more info about the QOV program, go to http://www.qovf.org/ Here is the picture I took of Sharon's Quilt before I gave it back to her. She still had to put the binding on it. The first picture is of her whole quilt. The second picture shows one of the embroidered blocks.

Also this week I had to embroider shirts and hat bands, for a customer and make his business cards.

Our puppy is growing so fast. He is now 35 pounds. His legs are getting longer. He will stay in the yards when we take him out. He has so much energy. Poor baby has suffered with me being too busy. He has let us know.

Gifts from a friend

I have such nice friends. Last week a friend had found two needle tatting books and a needle and gave them to me.

Yesterday a friend brought me gifts she had found when she was on a trip and antique shopping. She said they had my name on them. One is a antique tatting magazine. Fun fun fun! The second was an antique beaded bag. My mom had a beaded bag like that and I loved it. I have been looking at them when my husband and I have been in the antique stores. Now I have one of my own.

Jack meets the vet

Jack is now 12 weeks. He is growing so fast. He met our vet for the first time to get his 12 week shots and check up. She looked him over and said he was perfect. Well we could have told you that! He is 29 pounds now. He was 18 when we brought him home at 8 weeks. He is very smart. He loves to go for walks. He has learned sidewalk (mean get on it, or stay on it). Stop and Go. (For when we get to an intersection) He is learning to stay (this is a hard one for him, he is trying but not succeeding to well) He knows to go to the car when we tell him his is going bye bye. Does not like dads work. He loves the snow, his toys, walks, carrots and broccoli. He still takes long naps.
